Unboxing Your Bundle & Configuring Your Weight System

The Carry Weighted Vest bundle arrives with everything you need: the vest shell and four spines—our flexible weight racks, each fully loaded with adjustable weights, 20 lbs total.

Each weight is half a pound. Each spine holds up to 10 adjustable weights. Whatever you do to one spine, do to all four—that's what keeps your load balanced front to back and side to side.

Step 1: Open your box. Your vest shell sits on top. Underneath, you'll find your weight system: four spines, each fully loaded.

Step 2: Configure your starting weight. New to weighted vests? Head to the next section to pull weights from your spines before loading. Already comfortable carrying 16–20 lbs? You're ready to load as-is.

Step 3: Load the front. Open the two vertical zippers on either side of the front panel. Slide one spine into each pocket and zip closed.

Step 4: Load the back. Open the back pocket. Slide one spine under the mesh on each side, then zip closed.

💧 Hydration tip: If you're using a water bladder in the back pocket, load it before inserting your back weight racks—it's a smoother process.

Load It Your Way: Posture, Comfort & Custom Configurations

Here's where The Carry is unlike anything else on the market. Because you control exactly where weight sits—front, back, top, bottom—you can customize your load to your body and your goals, not the other way around.

For posture support: Load more adjustable weights in the back spines than the front. The added posterior load gently draws your shoulders back and opens your chest—without you having to think about it.

→ Try this: For a 15 lb carry, remove 3 adjustable weights from each front spine and 2 from each back spine.

For front-loading sensitivity: We've heard from women—including breast cancer survivors and women with augmented breasts—who needed a vest that wouldn't put pressure or weight directly on their chest. The Carry makes that possible.

→ Load your front spines with adjustable weights only at the very top and bottom, and distribute the remaining weight across your back spines. Your chest stays clear. Your carry stays strong.

This level of customization doesn't exist in any other weighted vest. That was intentional.

Dialing In Your Fit: The Bungee System

Our bungee system is what makes The Carry feel like a hug, not a drag. Here's how to make it yours.

Front bungees: You have three bungee cords that slide along a front rail, so you can position them exactly where they feel best for your height and chest size. Our go-to placement: two cords above the chest, one below.

Adjusting the fit: Find the cord lock and pop the cords up to release tension. Slide the bungee to your preferred length, then press the cords back down to lock. Pull the loose end to tighten. That's it.

Side bungees: Pull the side bungees in until the vest sits close to your body—this is what keeps everything stable and moving with you, not against you.

If it feels snug but not restrictive—you've got it right.

Seven Pockets, Thoughtfully Placed

The Carry was designed for real life—your phone, your keys, your dog, your water, your layers.

Front: Two ruched side pockets sized for your phone, each with a zippered pocket on top for cards, keys, or lip gloss. Accessible even with the vest fully loaded.

Sides: Two additional pockets that conceal the side bungee hardware—perfect for doggy bags, a protein bar, or whatever fuel you're running on.

Back: One large zippered compartment that fits a standard hydration bladder (1–1.5 liters) or soft water pouch with a port for your drinking tube. Not carrying water? It's the perfect size for a rolled-up rain shell or windbreaker.

Caring for Your Vest: Washing & Storage

Spot clean when you can. A damp cloth handles most post-workout freshening.

Remove your weight system before washing. Unzip all four pockets, slide out each loaded spine, and set aside. Weight system does not need washing.

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners—they break down the technical fabrics over time.

Air dry only. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not put in the dryer—heat will degrade the bungee system and fabrics.

Your vest is built to last—a little care goes a long way.
